can girls stop judging other girls for not using tampons

it’s literally annoying sometimes when i’m talking to someone and we talkin about girl problems and they’re like OMG HOW CAN YOU WEAR THAT DIAPER JUST TRY TAMPONS like some people can’t physically wear tampons so frick off pls

When I was a freshman in high school, we were changing int he bathroom for gym and a senior asked if anyone had an extra pad. This girl goes, “No. I’m not fucking twelve.”

NEVER SAY THAT. Some women physically can’t use tampons. And personally, I have anxiety about having them in all the time because of toxic shock, so I occasionally go a couple hours with just a pad. Don’t make fun of anyone for this

romanticize the hell out of your life tbh? romanticize the freckle on your left ass cheek or getting gas at the station before sunset. make every moment a good memory. make yourself feel special because you are special and I’m tired of this attitude where we attack each other by saying “no one cares”

Attention to the meaning of the central male slang term for sexual intercourse—"fuck"— is instructive. To fuck a woman is to have sex with her. To fuck someone in another context… means to hurt or cheat a person. And when hurled as a simple insult (“fuck you”) the intent is denigration and the remark is often a prelude to violence or the threat of violence. Sex in patriarchy is fucking. That we live in a world in which people continue to use the same word for sex and violence, and then resist the notion that sex is routinely violent and claim to be outraged when sex becomes overtly violent, is testament to the power of patriarchy.
